Sophie

We believe Sophie is crossed with pony of the Americans. This girl is built right, she’s got all the curves, she’s sturdy, and she’s the perfect size for a variety of riders. Not only does she have the cuteness, but she has the brain to match! She rides both English and Western, and she takes a jump. She is the ideal family horse and would make the perfect lesson horse as well. She always takes care of her riders and is totally a lovebug on the ground.

On the trail, Sophie is a trail machine. She is careful, and surefooted. She is always happy to go out, with a lovely attitude and a curiosity for adventure. Point and shoot. Nothing really phases her. We have ridden her all over, through woods, on the road, by farm machinery, in open fields, and into the creek. She is pretty unflappable as they come out on the trail. She will lead or follow when you’re out with others. She has no spook, buck, rear, or bolt, no silly behavior. She’s lovely and kind in every way.

Sophie is amazing under saddle. This girl is very hard to find a flaw in. She has a solid walk, trot, and canter. She’s happy to stroll around on a loose rein but will happily put in the work and go when asked. She rides beautiful circles and figure eights, she is well balanced. She is perfect for leadline rides and genuinely seems to love children with her whole heart. She will lower her head to their height just to get pets and love. She is also able to be athletic with a great work ethic. She is cute and honest in every way.

On the ground, Sophie is safe to work around. She’s one that comes up to you in the pasture begging for attention and cookies. She loves people and attention. She’s gentle taking treats and loves her cookies. She is really the cutest little thing. She’s quickly become a barn favorite, and we have no doubt she will thrive in any environment! We want the best home for this special girl.

She currently goes barefoot and has great feet. She passed her vet exam and is ready for her new home. Please don’t miss out on this cutie. We will be sad to see her go but we know she will be loved wherever she will go.
