Pongo

Pongo is an approx 13 year old stunning, Percheron Cross gelding, standing 16 hands tall. He is truly a spectacular little all around gelding.

On the Trail, Pongo is reliable and safe. He never takes a wrong step. He is wonderful on the trail and he enjoys being out. He rides out alone or with others. When out with others he will go in the front or back of the group without a problem. Pongo doesn’t act buddy or barn sour when you take him out alone. This gelding is not spooky. He will go where asked. Crosses logs, goes through water and mud, is absolutely safe on the road and around any traffic. This guy will jump without hesitation as well and absolutely loves it.

Under Saddle, Pongo will go English and Western and he rides bareback. He is easy to ride on the trail and in the arena. He is a trustworthy gelding. Pongo will walk,trot and canter. He has a great stop, will walk on the lose rein until You asked more of him. He can lengthen or shorten his stride based on your needs.
He will also pop over a fallen log on the trail.

Pongo is a great all around horse. He would make a great family horse, husband horse, he would make a nice lesson horse, or a pleasure/trail partner for someone.

In the barn, he stands politely to be groomed and tacked. He has a very laid back temperament. Pongo is content living inside or out, and goes out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. He has never been hard to catch for us. Pongo has no vices we came across.
He has always been good for my vet and farrier. He currently goes wears front shoes but he can go barefoot . He is up to date and passed his vet exam and is ready for his new home. Pongo is wonderful and such a handsome guy with a nice personality who’s looking to bond with his new owner.

He is broke to drive but we never hitched him.
