Jesper

Jesper is an approx 6 year old stunning Friesian cross Gelding. This handsome gelding stands right at 16.1 hands. He is as sweet as he is smart, Jesper has the personality everyone wants. He is easily a favorite, loves attention, and being loved on. We have taken him on miles of trails and have done some arena work with him. He takes everything in stride and always has the same easy going personality. He is a one of a kind, there’s not many his age with such a quiet and sweet demeanor. He absolutely loves attention.

In the barn, Jesper is quiet and respectful. He has no bad stall habits. He will stand patiently to be groomed and tacked, and lowers his head for the bridle. This sweet boy always has the same easy going personality, and he enjoys attention. He gets along with everyone and is easy to work around. He is absolutely not pushy, has always been good for our Farrier and Vet. My Vet absolutely adores him. He can be turned out with mares and geldings and never causes trouble. Jesper has always been easy to catch for us and he has no vices we came across. We love having this guy in the barn because he really is a Saint and looks absolutely breathtaking. You would never guess he is this young. He is simply amazing.

Under Saddle, Jesper is easy going, teachable, and intelligent. He could excel in any direction. He will Walk/Trot/Canter beautifully and has comfortable gaits. His gaits are floaty like a Friesian. Trots beautiful circles and figure eights with a beautiful natural headset. He is nice balanced and bends nicely. He is safe and laid back. He has a great stop. He will ride on the loose rein all day until you ask more of him. We can’t say enough good things about this boy. He has been started over small jumps, is willing and is brave with everything we throw at him.
He is reliable and steady. He loves water and will cross anything you put in front of him. This boy is a trail master and takes care of his rider. He will pop over logs, cross streams, ditches, rocks, roots, and more. We’ve never gotten a buck, rear, or kick from him. Absolutely no silly behavior in any way. Jesper will ride out alone or with others. He will go in the front and bravely lead, or he will stay happily in the back. We never have to worry with this guy. He has never acted buddy or barn sour. Loves kids and has giving pony rides. He is very careful when a little one is on his back to make sure nothing happens to his little rider.

We have done a lot of desensitization work with this guy, and not much phases him. Tarps, smoke, umbrellas, heavy equipment, and scary traffic, he’s done it all. He truly is a superstar, and his type of brain is rare to find. Jesper has a solid foundation. He has not disappointed us one time, and he’s guaranteed to make someone very happy. This boy can go in any direction and you seriously shouldn’t miss out on the opportunity to own this amazing and stunning Gelding.
He’s very intelligent and strives to please his rider. Jesper is incredible and someone will get to own this phenomenal horse. Western, English, Trail, Arena, Fox Hunting, Cross Country, Dressage, Eventing, Show, …. He will make heads turn no matter where he goes. He is up to date and passed his Vet Exam and is now ready for his new home. Pictures don’t do this handsome guy justice. It’s not every day we can offer such a truly special horse.
