Cookie is a very sweet and easy going girl. She has no bad habits in the barn, goes out happily with Mares and Geldings, and has no Vices we came across. She is absolutely not marish either. Cookie has good ground manners. She stands in crossties to be groomed, bathed, tacked up, loved on etc. she has wonderful Stall Manners but is also happy living outside. Cookie has always been easy to catch for us. She walks up to us right away in the pasture.
On the Trail, Cookie is a trail machine. She is your trail horse deluxe. She will go anywhere you want, up and down steep banks, through water, logs, crosses bridges, etc. she is safe on the Road and around Traffic. Cookie will trail ride all day long on the long rein, but will nicely Trot and Canter when asked. She will canter off from a walk. Has automatic lead changes, knows her leads. Will trot and canter circles. He has the most comfortable gaits ever.
This mare will lead, follow, go alone and in groups. She is very brave, willing, and absolutely not spooky. Very kind hearted and takes care of her rider. Nothing really phases her. She is absolutely not Barn or Buddy sour.
Under Saddle, Cookie can be ridden english, western and bareback. She is absolutely amazing. She is brave over a jump, knows her distance and really knows what she’s doing. She is the right balance of whoa and go. No hot or silly behavior.
This horse is absolutely awesome. Kids as young as 6 have been around her under supervision and she is definitely a horse you can trust. What an awesome and cute mare she is.
