A Blueberry Muffin

This one here is a tough one to let go but as we always say “You can’t keep them all!” Blueberry Muffin is a 12.2H, 7 year old, True Blue Roan Quarter Pony mare and she has been with us almost 2 years now and over that 2 year span she has been rock solid and 100% dependable! She has been ridden daily and at times left out in the pasture for up to 3 months and she is still the same respectable lady even after a layoff. Blueberry has been ridden by all ages even as young as 5 and ridden by smaller adults as well. We have shown her in leadline classes and used her at birthday parties for the kids to ride. Our kids ages 5-11 have ridden her around the ranch and been out in the pastures to check the cows. The kids like to go chase the calves around on her and she enjoys it too. She has been trail ridden extensively and geos anywhere that dads big horse can go, it doesn’t get too steep or too deep! Blueberry will climb up the steep hills and slide down the other side if need be. She will cross deep water with no issues and takes her time on the rocky terrain as well. The kids have played with her tracking the roping dummy and trotted/loped her around the barrels. Blueberry does great in the herd and is also fine being stalled. She is always the first one to the gate to meet you if she is pastured and she loves attention whether that be getting brushed or getting all decked out in glitter and braids. Blueberry lopes nice circles, takes her leads and reins around some. She tacks up and rides off quietly as well. Blueberry has been a valuable asset to our family and we are sure that she will be to yours as well!
