You are in search of a Family/Husband/Wife/Grandma safe horse? This mare would be a great addition to a family who’s looking for a pleasure/trail horse, a therapeutic riding facility, etc

She is an approx 11 year old roan Belgian Mare . She stands 16.3 hands tall and is the most laid back horse ever! she is the true meaning of a gentle giant. Slow and steady wins the race and that’s Phoebe.

Under Saddle, she is extremely comfortable and easy to ride. She is the definition of simple and safe. She will Walk/Trot/Canter but she prefers to just walk and trot. Phoebe is never in a hurry. Definitely has more whoa than go.

On the trail, she is a fantastic trail horse. She enjoys getting out and seeing new places and things. Phoebe will lead, follow, or ride in the middle of the group. She has never acted Barn or Buddy sour with us. She is absolutely not spooky. She will easily cross roads, water, bridges, and anything else that you may come across. She is safe around traffic, farm machinery, ATV’s etc.

In the barn, Phoebe is a sweetheart. She loves being handled, groomed, tacked up, etc. she loves being cuddled, and loved on. Phoebe stands like a statue on the crossties, and has no bad habits in or out of the barn. She is happy living inside or out, it makes no difference to her. When she is in the pasture she goes in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. She minds her own business and is overall a pleasure to have in the barn. Phoebe has always been easy to catch for us. This mare has always been good for our Vet and Farrier. She currently goes barefoot.

She is suppose to broke to drive single and double but we never hitched her.
She passed her vet exam and is ready for her new home.

My 5 year old has been around her pretty much daily under supervision and she is really a sweet and gentle mare.
